  I want to upgrade my 4.8.2 website so it is mobile friendly…is this safe to do?
  Can you help me walk through the upgrade so I don’t lose anything?

  The wordpress version is not relevant here at WordPress.COM. It’s only relevant to those who have WordPress.ORG software installs and we do not provide support for them at wordpress.COM.

  The version of WordPress software every wordpress.COM site runs on is the most recent one. Here, at wordpress.COM our Staff do all version upgrades for us users, and they are done 1 month before they are released to wordpress.ORG users.
