upgrade issue

I have upgraded to the $/month plan and still I am receiving notices advising that I upgrade. Also, when I sign on to my page, a message appears also advising an upgrade. I have written for support about this several times to no avail. I am losing time using the service because I cannot get a straight answer, nor can I speak with anyone directly. Knowing that I cannot get voice support, I will not continue my patronage with WordPress. I either want $48 refunded or would like someone to help me straighten this out.

There are no upgrades owned by the account you are currently logged in to. Can you send a link to the site you purchased an upgrade for? Please don’t share any transaction details here, a link to the site is the only information I need for now.
