Upgrade page won't accept postcode on credit card

I’m trying to upgrade from a free to a personal package for abawtblog.wordpress.com. I already own a domain name elsewhere that I would like to transfer to this site. I get through the the payment page, submit my credit card details and the form will not accept my postcode as valid.
I have previously used this card in wordpress for a different account and the address hasn’t changed. I don’t have a paypal account or another card I can use to pay this £30.
Do you have any ideas?

It is a UK postcode, yes. It’s TF7 4PW. I can promise you that it exists. :) I have successfully made numerous credit card payments with it before now.

Yeah, thanks for providing the postal code – I believe you =). We’ve had a bunch of UK postal codes not work over the last several weeks for some reason. However, many of them do not reply back to me regarding an update – have you tried the upgrade again?
I’ll take a look into this and let you know what the source of the issue may be. Thank you!

Just to make sure, when you entered the post code, did you include the space as you posted it earlier (TF7 4PW)? I was informed that many users have been getting the error because they are not putting the space after the third character when it is indeed needed. Let me know. Thanks!

We disabled a few things on our end that was preventing postal/zip codes from processing. If you have not attempted recently, try again and let me know if it goes through.
