Upgrade problem.
-
I want to copy my http://www.andrewsloveland.wordpress.com site to my new upgraded http://www.thefrumiousbandersnatch.com site.
Do I need to do this through some sort of ftp thingy? Is there an idiot proof way to copy-paste one blog to the other?
I looked on the support pages but can only find information for moving a blog/redirecting it to another hoster. What do I do when I’ve simply upgraded my WP blog?
Apologies if this is a ridiculous question. I am a complete newbie around such things. :( -
Both addresses are the same blog, so you don’t need to move anything. You can set the primary domain of ‘andrewsloveland.wordpress.com’ on this page. This way the primary domain will appear as http://thefrumiousbandersnatch.com

Thanks for the response. Unfortunately, I’m unable to access the page via the hyperlink. I’m simply taken to a page that asks, ‘are you sure you want to do this?’ and ‘Please try again’
I tried setting http://thefrumiousbandersnatch.com as my primary domain via Store>Domains> but after updating my primary domain I get the Redirect Loop error.
The webpage at http://andrewsloveland.wordpress.com/ has resulted in too many redirects. Clearing your cookies for this site or allowing third-party cookies may fix the problem. If not, it is possibly a server configuration issue and not a problem with your computer.Interestingly, I note that even though I have now set http://thefrumiousbandersnatch.com as my primary domain and have typed this into my url, the error states that it is the http://andrewsloveland.wordpress.com webpage that has caused the redirect error. I don’t understand this.
Thanks
