Upgrade to Premium or Switch to My Own Hosting?

  I just upgraded my wordpress blog to premium because I want to customize it beyond what the standard wordpress allowed. I would like to add a way for users to submit content via a form/survey and then for me to be able to approve that content before it’s posted. Can I do this with the premium wordpress or should I cancel my upgrade and switch to my own hosting?

  Hi there,

  There are a couple ways to do what you describe here at WordPress.com:

  1. You can create a custom contact form on your blog and then post the content yourself after visitors submit it. We have information about creating contact forms here: Contact Form

  2. You can add WordPress.com users as contributors on your blog. They can then create content for you to review and publish on the blog. Here is more information about adding users to your blog: Inviting Contributors, Followers, and Viewers
