Seems like I am ready to upgrade. I set up a new domain name with go daddy over weekend, but would really like to work within wordpress if possible. I asm pretty clueless about the structural aspect of web and want to be sure I am all synched in. Something about my “search engine optimization” profile. I believe I need to “talk” about it, not write about it. Can that be scheduled?

Technically, you do have to write about it through good content in order to help your SEO.
A few suggestions to help:
- Connect your site to your social networks such as Facebook and Twitter via Publicize
- Use appropriate tags and categories for your posts so that people in the WordPress community can find your post
- You can gain a following pretty quickly if you blog regularly and consistently
- With the above in mind, make sure that you are posting content that is high in quality and unique. Search engines will be much more friendlier to you if that is the case
