  I am looking to upgrade, so I can add audio and video and monetize my it. Is premium the best option? Is it easy to upgrade my current blog? I was actually thinking about even changing the name. I would like to keep my old content. Sorry for all the questions. This is all so new for me. :)

  Yes, for those purposes, the WordPress.com Premium plan is the best choice.

  WordPress.com plans include a custom domain credit. So you can choose a new domain for your site easily.

  With a custom domain your content remains, just the site’s URL changes.
