Upgrading domain question

    Hello,

    So I have a lot of promotional material out there with my Michaelkilman.wordpress.com web address. What I want to know is, if I upgrade to a website and include a new domain will that old web address automatically reroute to the new one? And if so is it permanent or temporary?

    Yes. Any traffic to michaelkilman.wordpress.com will be forwarded to the new custom domain. It is permanent as long as you continue to keep the custom domain registered. If you let it expire, nothing can be forwarded.
