-
Hi,
Can you explain a bit more about what you are trying to achieve by uploading the file?
-
Hi
I would like to open domain and host it with you guys or blue hosting.
Currently, I have a site under this domain: “appstockuk.wordpress.com”.
After I’ll buy the WordPress.com Personal plan, my site will be called:
Appstock.com.Eventually, I want to add a JSON file to the root folder of the site in order to get
this URL: “https://www.app-stock.com/sellers.json”You can see an example of another company site that is doing the same on her site: “https://www.freewheel.com/sellers.json”
So I want to understand if all of this can be done before I’m buying the WordPress.com Personal plan.
Thanks.

You wouldn’t be able to do that on WordPress.com but I’m still not sure what exactly would you like to achieve with that.
There might be alternatives and we’ll be happy to advise once we know more details. -
Hi,
Thanks for your help!
I would like to create a site that will look exactly like this one: http://www.freewheel.com/sellers.json
If you’ll enter the above site you’ll see what I’m trying to achieve.
As far as I understand in order to have this kind of site I’ll need to upload a JSON file to my root folder on my site.
Do you support JASON files?
If so How can I upload them?
Thanks,
-
WordPress.com is a shared environment and we do not allow certain actions due to security reasons. So no, I’m afraid you wouldn’t be able to edit your site’s structure.
You will want to create a self-hosted site, instead: https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.
