Upload Theme

  Hello, I have purchased the Divi theme from Elegant Themes which is only compatible with WordPress, however, I am unable to install it without paying for a $300 upgrade in my account type. I’ve already paid nearly $300 for the theme. Are there any other options for me to be able to upload my purchase without having to make another? Requiring an upgrade to upload a theme I have already paid for is not affordable for me and I am hoping there is another way for me to still use the theme I am comfortable with and have paid for.

  Hi there,

  Using themes bought elsewhere on a WordPress.com site requires our Business or eCommerce plan:

  Upload a Theme

  I realise you paid a lot for that theme, but you paid that to a completely different company, and that purchase does not cover payment for the services we provide on WordPress.com.

  If you don’t want to upgrade your WordPress.com site, you can also use that theme with the stand-alone version of WordPress made by the community on WordPress.org. But even then you’ll still have to pay a hosting provider like Bluehost or Pressable for hosting services.
