Uploading a purchased theme to a blog hosted @ wordpress

  Hello, I signed up to have my blog/website hosted at wordpress but didn’t like the themes that were featured. I want to purchase a theme from another source and upload that theme. Is this possible? And could you direct me to a source that details how to do so?

  It’s not really possible to upload custom themes here:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/adding-new-themes/

  Keep in mind that you could use the Custom Design upgrade to change the appearance of your blog with a little CSS:
