Uploading images to my first blog post from google photo media

    Hi,
    I am contributing by invitation to a friends blog. I have written an article and wanted to include some photos from google photo. I add them to the post, but when I click save they disappear. Later there is a message saying there was an error uploading the image. something like ‘ file could not be uploaded because an error occurred while uploading.’
    I am not the blog owner, just contributor. I am using windows, Chrome, ME Internet Explorer and MS Edge, but none allow me to keep the photos in place.

    Here at WordPress.com if you are just a contributor then you haven’t permission to upload images. You need to ask the owner if your role can be changed to author.
