uploading media fail

I’ve had my blog for five years, and only in the past two months it hasn’t allowed me to upload new photos from my camera. ‘Failure to upload.’ It started with photos I uploaded in January, only allowing me to upload about 50 out of the 60, perhaps. And now it doesn’t allow any of them to upload. The photos upload fine into my Photos app and even Facebook allows them to upload, so I don’t think the issue is the files themselves. Any help? I greatly appreciate it!

I’m sorry to hear you’re having problems with the media uploading!
There are many reasons why you can occur in such errors. One of these is related to your storage space running out. Is it possible that you have reached the 3GB maximum amount of space? You can check it on Dashboard>Media>Library. That’s the first text you can see after the title page:You are currently using XX MB out of 3.0 GB upload limit (XX%).
Another reason might be the media file(s) being too large or the filename(s) having a special character in it.
Would you mind double check first the storage space for me, and then if your camera has somehow changed the images’ size settings and/or the way of naming the images?

I just checked and you are correct– I have maxed my storage space. I just deleted some photos and I hope the problem should be solved.
