  get this response when uploading images: godaddy says a WP issue

  Unable to create directory uploads/2021/03. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

  Hi there!

  Are you talking about kathrynmayer.com? If so, I’m afraid that your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted with GoDaddy.

  Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites that are hosted elsewhere, we can only assist with sites that are hosted on our servers.
