uploading photos

Hi there. I’ve had this simple blog for my family and friends for quite some time now. Recently, I can’t upload a photo from my phone to the blog. The error message says that my photos are too large. Any thoughts?
The site I need help with is me2mndotcom.wordpress.com.

Hi @me2mn, are you using our app to upload them? If so there’s a setting within it that _should_ resize the photos for you, assuming your phone has sufficient memory and space to handle it.
Can you confirm the exact error you get, which app you’re using, and confirm what site you’re uploading to?

I’m not a tecchi so I’ll try to explain how I upload my photos. I chose the photo from my computer while I am in the blog, does that make sense? The error message I am getting is written inside a red colored text box: This file exceeds the maximum upload size for this site. Which is weird because I’ve always uploaded the same exact way.
I would say that I’m uploading to my only blog: https://me2mndotcom.wordpress.com
The funny part is if I take a photo from FB that someone else used or a photo that someone sends me i can upload it fine the same way that I upload my photos from my computer. I can use the same folder too. It’s just the photos that I take that I can’t upload anymore.

Hi there,
Free sites on WordPress.com have 3GB of storage space for media uploads, and from what I can see here you have used that all up, there is no more storage space available: https://wordpress.com/media/me2mndotcom.wordpress.com
Because of this it’s not currently possible to upload media to that site, but you can upgrade to our WordPress.com Personal Plan, which will double the storage space to 6GB so you can continue to upload. As well the plan includes a free domain (for the first year) which you can use to set your site on a custom address, turns off the advertising we show on free sites you your site is “ad-free” and also gives you priority email support for any site questions you have.

… and I have not used my storage space up, and I have also tried uploading smaller images but I still have the same problem.
