  It says http error when I try to upload pictures

  Are you using the New Post button or the dashboard Add New Post page? How much space have you got in your media library?

  I’m using the New Post button. I should have plenty of space.

  Don’t use it. Upload to your media library from the dashboard. The New Post button has all kinds of problems and the recent changes have made things worse.
