uploading Themeforest Themes

  Hi, i’m new to wordpress. I’ve downloaded a theme and started editing it, but decided against it and have downloaded another theme but it seems to be bringing in the page layouts from the previous theme. How do i stop this from happening so i can use the second theme layout i’ve picked?
