uploading videos

I am trying to create a new website for my singing group, The One Voice Singers and was wondering how I can upload videos of our performances? Will this mean that I have to upgrade? I had previously created a website on the link from Wix.com and I could upload videos on to it with no problem and no upgrade required so I am hoping that I can do the same with WordPress? I would very much appreciate your advise. Thanks!

To upload videos to WordPress.com, you will need the VideoPress upgrade which is a part of WordPress.com Premium.
However, if you do not wish to upgrade, you can embed videos from Vimeo, Youtube, and others using these instructions:
