Uploading videos from my iPad using my iPad
-
I just purchased the video press plugin but cannot figure out how to upload videos taken on my iPad using my iPad. I will not have access to my desktop and need to be able to all of this exclusively from my iPad.
How do I do this?

Apple doesn’t allow file uploads through Mobile Safari, so you’ll need to use our app instead: http://ios.wordpress.org/

Thanks so much for responding. However, I have this app. That is how I set up my blog. Sorry, should have state that earlier. How do I then get videos off my camera roll onto my blog. That’s what I am having trouble with.

Basically, when composing a post, click the button near the bottom-right which looks like a film strip. This will allow you to upload a video file.

I was able to upload the video to my iPad and it is now working. Thanks you! However, I am concerned about one thing. When it first uploaded, I could see it fine from the desktop, but on the iPad there was a message that the video could not be played because it needed Flash. Now, about 5 mins later, I can view it fine from the iPad. I am not going to have access to my desktop after today and need to know that I will be able to view from my ipad all videos I post. Is this a glitch that I need to be concerned about?

Yes, you’ll be able to view all of the videos from your iPad, but it takes a few minutes for the correct format to be generated after upload.
