Uploading WP backup site

  Hi I used to host my own wordpress blog on my own website but the hosting company ended. Would there be a way to upload my backed up wordpress site to a blog hosted here? Thanks

  Yes, of course.

  Head over to the Support Site http://en.support.wordpress.com/ and search for “import”.

  Before doing so, please review again the WordPress.com Terms of Service that you agreed to when you signed up here to ensure that your new site will comply. Nothing worse than setting up house only to find your site suspended for ToS violations. The “types of blogs” is particularly relevant. http://en.wordpress.com/tos/
