Urgent help! Accidentally Bought WordPress domain and now it is parked and can’t buy it back

  Hi! I meant to subscribe to a personal plan a couple of days ago that includes a free domain. When I went to check out, I didn’t realize I had add the domain to my cart twice so I was charged for it. I quickly cancelled it but it is still parked. I have decided that I would like to transfer that domain to a different registrar because my boyfriend is now helping me build my own website, but it is still parked even though it is already cancelled. Is there a way to fix this? I would like to have that domain back because I’m going to use it for my portfolio. Thank you!
