Urgent – Unavailable Website

    Hi! I currently have a problem that i absolutely don’t know how to resolve.
    Since this morning we couldn’t access to our website and wordpress showed the following error: ‘There has been a critical error on this website.’.
    We know the problem has occurred between 2:55am and 9:40am (Paris time) and no one seems to have done anything on wordpress or in the code that could explain such a thing.
    Worse than that. Later while checking on the page to understand the problem it suddenly stopped working since we now just have an HTTP error 500. We have several websites using wordpress so all of them are now unavailable with the same error. I know this is supposed to be an internal server error but i don’t understand what happened to the website to crash like this since no one was doing anything with the code at this very moment.
    Can you help me solve this issue and understand what happened to suddenly create such an inconvenient error? Thanks
