URGENT: Website Upgrade/ Missing account information
-
We are a publication with a college and therefore the leadership of our website changes. We have been experiencing difficulties with our website’s loading time and need an upgrade. We pay through BlueHost and are unable to access customer service to fix the issues because BlueHost isn’t providing the support we need since we are unable to answer their security questions. We think that the account information is under a @wpfix.com email, to which we do not have access. We’d like to talk to someone about this asap so if possible, please email (email visible only to moderators and staff) or call [redacted by staff]. Thanks.

Hi there,
We can’t help directly because we don’t host thesandb.com on our WordPress.com managed hosting. As a result, we can’t take a closer look at your site.
Instead your host (Bluehost) uses the open-source variant of the WordPress platform which functions differently than what we offer here on WordPress.com. We are both providers of WordPress sites, but we are not directly connected as companies.
I’m afraid that in this case you will need to work with Bluehost staff to regain access to your account with them. You may also find some assistance here in the open-source forums for the WordPress project, which is the version of WordPress that Bluehost uses: https://wordpress.org/support/forum/how-to-and-troubleshooting/
Hope this helps point you in the right direction!
