URL Choice

  Hi,

  I’m looking to get a free URL to host my blog on. I was under the impression I could get a free URL with the format [blogname].wordpress.com, however when I try to start a blog the only domain options listed (such a [blogname].blog, [blogname].taxi, etc.) are ‘Free’, but renew at some price/year.

  Is there no longer a way to get a free URL including ‘.wordpress.com’?

  Hi, you can still use a .wordpress.com address if that address exists. If it was previously used and deleted, it won’t show up and you’ll get other suggestions.

  Can you confirm what address you’re trying to use?
