    I have domain map to mygroovydomain.com. Why is my dashboard still mygroovydomain.wordpress.com?

    I purchase domain map for abc.wordpress.com but I would like to change it to cde.wordpress.com. Still domain mapped to mygroovydomain.com. Is this possible?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Hi there,

    Your dashboard address will always use your free WordPress.com address (e.g. mygroovydomain.wordpress.com) and not your custom domain. That’s to make sure that nothing ever happen to your blog contents, even if you stop using that custom domain. However, visitors will only ever see your custom domain.

    Yes, you can change your free WordPress.com address with this guide: Changing a Blog Address

    However, keep in mind that only you will see this change. Visitors to your blog will still only see your custom domain.
