Url error

    When I set up my wordpress blog I made a spelling error with the url. Is there a way I can make a correction? If not how to I go about linking a new url to my existing blog? Thanks in advance.

    Hi there,

    To change your blog’s free WordPress.com address, you can follow this guide: Changing a Blog Address

    However, when you register a custom domain like your domain jamiesgeneology.com, that can’t be changed. What you register is the exact domain name, with that spelling.

    However, you’re welcome to register more than one domain name for your blog and use the new domain name as the primary URL for your blog. You can register a new domain under Store > Domains in your blog’s dashboard.
