URL keeps directing me to an old site that no longer exists

    I tried to set up a new site but I keep being redirected to a very old site that I deleted quite awhile ago. When I try to bring up that site, I receive this message: ‘Please check your Primary Site’s Jetpack connection wp-admin’. I can’t check it because the message that comes back is ‘Server cannot find….’ It’s understandable because the site was deleted. It also was never my primary site, to my knowledge.
    How do I make sure that the old site is really completely deleted?
