  I don’t want wordpress to appear in my URL and I can’t remove it. Can you please help?

  If you wan’t a domain without wordpress.com, you must upgrade to a paid plan, https://wordpress.com/pricing/

  But my domain is not from wordpress. I bought it from namechep. This should be some kind of a bug.

  If you want to use a custom domain you bought somewhere else, you need a paid plan together with domain connection – https://wordpress.com/support/domain-connection-vs-domain-transfer/#connecting-a-domain

  However if you also bought hosting from NameCheap – https://www.namecheap.com/wordpress/ -, you don’t need wordpress.com.

  My hosting is from Siteground. I think that should works too.
