Use own domain name – but website already registered.

  I already have a domain with email and my website hosted. I want to add a wordpress blog but not have blah.wordpress as the domain name that shows anytime i post from wordpress to sisal media, i would like my own domain name. what can i do to make this happen?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I’m not sure I’m understanding you. If you have a website hosted elsewhere, just add WP software to it: You drop http://brettcphoto.wordpress.com/ entirely, set it to Private, and install software from WordPress.ORG in your webspace and blog there.

  Thanks for the reply. It is hosted with a photo commerce site that I can’t drop wp as a component. If I add WordPress software via a normal hosting model, does it still post to all social media automatically ?

  No. You can set it up to do so, but the instructions for that are over at WordPress.ORG.
