Used plugin to reset my Website, unable to enter into WP-Admin

  • Unknown's avatar

    Hi,

Recently because my site speed was poor, I decided to reset my website using the reset plugin. Upon doing so, I was logged out of wp-admin, and was unable to log back in.

Every time I enter in my details, I am prompted with:

‘The username XXXX is not registered on this site. If you are unsure of your username, try your email address instead.’

When I try using my email I get the message:

Unknown email address. Check again or try your username.

Does anyone know what’s going on?
