User Gravatar no appearing on comments

Greetings,
I have a comic site (www.jeaniebottle.com) where the commenter’s Gravatar pics aren’t showing up.
Some initially appear, and as the comments increase the gravatar stop appearing in and show a grey granulated canvas in lieu of the gravatar. This is an issue I’ve played with off and on trying to figure out what’s going on.
