User names

    I am getting tired of my wordpress user name appearing as a default on every other wordpress-based blog I contribute to. None of them know me as pitsgate; most know me as Mike Jackson; a couple know me as newminster, a user name which you won’t allow because it “already exists”.
    I don’t want to close my account but I’m getting to the stage where I don’t have much choice if every time I post I have to check to see that the name I am using is the one that I always use on that site!

    Hi –

    If you’re signed in to the pitsgate account in the same browser, then that’s what will be displayed. Is the problem that you don’t have access to the newsminster account?
