User names and email address, blog ownership

  Our blog was set up about a year ago by someone who has left our company.

  With his cooperation, his blogs have been assigned to a new user: Ian Kelsall. This is so we do not lose the technical content. However, the departed employee’s old email address — (email visible only to moderators and staff) — is associated to this new user. As an administrator, can I edit the personal details of another user? I cannot seem to find where I can do this.

  Hi there,

  It isn’t possible for one WordPress.com user (even a site administrator) to change the details on another user’s account. You will need to log in to that user’s account and update the email address in the account settings there.

  Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)
