However, when speaking to wordpress users whom are signed into an account, they have informed me that when they click my account it displays “user not found”. Can somebody please help we resolve this as i want to get my blog out there. Thanks in advance, clodagh.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • I’m not sure I understand.

Would you please let us know _exactly_ what they’re clicking?

When they click to view my account, i am being told my account is not found.

  • I don’t understand what you mean by “click to view my account”. Can you take a screen shot of your site pointing out exactly where the link is they click, or provide the URL that link goes to? If you take a screen shot, upload it at My Site ->Site ->Media, and I can see it there.

A WordPress.com account refers to your username, and there’s nothing about that account that can be viewed, and there shouldn’t anywhere on your site where someone can click to view your “account”.

You can link your username to a specific site from within your account settings, but that means if someone clicks your username they get taken to the site you specify, not to a “user” or an “account”.
