User Role for Designers

  Hi,

  We would like to use WordPress.com to host our company blog. We are outsourcing our design and would like to add a new user specifically for this. We see the following roles: Administrator, Editor, Author, Contributor, and Follower. But none fits our need.

  Is it possible to give permissions to a user so that they can edit the theme/CSS without giving them administrator role? If so, can you tell us how?

  It is not currently possible to adjust the user roles at WordPress.com, so they would need to be an Administrator to adjust the design on their own.

  Alternatively, they could work on the design elsewhere (open a blog themselves, add the $30 Custom Design upgrade, and request a refund within 30 days), and just send the finished code to you.
