User role visibility on member's blogs

    I have members of my blogs who were authors. Rather than post appropriate posts to the group, they posted links to a competing site. I deleted the links and called attention to guidelines which prohibit links to other sites without prior approval. I also changed their author status to contributors. Will they know this? Will this show up on their settings?

    Hey there,

    Users can view their role on any blog they are a member of through the Dashboard -> My Blogs page in their dashboard. They will also likely notice their new-found lack of permissions.
