  I really want to use jeejopallayi as my username since that is the name I use everywhere. When i try to do that it says that I cannot use it and not sure why. I tried to login using that username which I believe I used in the past but unable to recover. Where do I go from here?

  Once you change your username you will not be able to change it back and the old name will not be available for you or anyone to use. If you just want to show your name differently please only change your Display Name. https://en.support.wordpress.com/change-your-username/

  https://en.forums.wordpress.com/users/jeejopallayi/ does not exist but https://jeejopallayi.wordpress.com/ does exist

  Hi there,

  As @timethief indicated above, that username can only be registered by the owner of the site, https://jeejopallayi.wordpress.com/, as it was reserved for them the moment they created that site. We cannot reassign that username to another account.
