Username Cannot Be Used nad Restored

Hi, I am now using the username tjunghanson and I think I have mistaken a very long time ago when I used or changed the username hansontjung. Now I really want to use the hansontjung username but it said that hansontjung had already been used. When I started to login with hansontjung username and get to the lost password, it said that hansontjung username is not integrated with any wordpress.
Can you help me to maybe check if the hansontjung username has really been used so I can change my username to that. Thanks in advance.

The username hansontjung has been used. Here is the forum profile. Whether or not it is a username you created, it is associated with a separate account than tjunghanson, with a different account email address.

Hi @tjunghanson, unfortunately if you change your username, the old one will be permanently deactivated. There are warnings along those lines in the username change process, and even though it’s been a while, they’re still in effect. You’re welcome to use something else though, as long as it’s available. Just know this name wouldn’t be available again either.
