Username still not changed
-
I realized my Blog cannot be so public; my username is jenniferannchapin. I changed it to aspiringwriterjennifer, removed my Gravatars, and changed my public settings. I cleared cookies and cache, and restarted my computer. I forced reset of the page. Still, my primary blog comes up as jenniferannchapin, not aspiringwriterjennifer as I changed it to. What am I doing wrong? Also, can I separate the two pages aspiringwriterjennifer and Forms & Shadows without deleting my posts? Thank you.
Blog url: http://aspiringwriterjennifer.wordpress.com/The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

It will not change retroactively. If you have an entirely new ID, not just changed the display name, you can Edit the author of a post and change it.
By “separate” what do you mean, exactly? They’re both associated with your usernames, since you put all that information here and it’s public. The best way to have two blogs completely separated is to have them under two different usernames.

Thank you, I will try editing the author.
The association between the two is that they share the same email, I imagine, and I opened the second by going to “Manage my Blogs” and creating a new blog. The thing is, I really like the second one, and that is the one that is getting responses…not the first/primary account. I am just afraid that if I cancel the primary, the second “page” (which I refer to as the second Blog) will disappear as well. Does that make sense.
Thanks for you response. I’ll try a few more things.

OK, here is the problem (and I’ve searched all over the support page): I need to change the name of one of my blogs. The username is okay, it is the name of the page that reveals my full identity. Is the only choice to delete it or hide it? Thanks again.

The name of a blog can be edited under Settings->General. The URL, however, can’t be edited at the moment. Staff have disabled that function right now.
