Username Switch

  I am trying to change my username. The response I receive is “Sorry, that username already exists!”. The username I’m trying to switch to, “stephenrouse”, is one that I had on another account. I updated the other account to “stephenrouseaol” so “stephenrouse” should now be available.

  That’s not how it works. Deleted blog URLs and abandoned usernames are not recycled here. You can change your DISPLAY name, but not the username.

  Thanks. Was hoping to update some stuff I had to do a long time ago now that circumstances have changed. Appreciate the feedback.
