users automatically set as author

  In Settings>General , I don’t have the possibility to assigne automatically the new users as authors!
  The guides says that it should be there but I don’t have it in!

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  WordPress.COM blogs do not have “users” except on private blogs. If you give them a role at your blog at all, author is the minimum you could give them.

  Ok, I try to explain what I would like to do in my blog, I hope to find the right words in english..
  I want that whoever wants can write as author in my blog. And I don’t want to give them permission; I want that anyone can inscribe in my blog alone and have alone the possibility to write a post in my blog.
  Is it clear?
  I thought I could do it opening a blog on wordpress.com, but I’m beginning thinking that I was wrong, that is possible only using the software from wordpress.org. Is it right?
