Users can’t log in to private site

  My site is private. I have invited several people to be followers, and they have received the invitations. They add their credentials — some of them creating WordPress accounts — but then they are unable to log in. They get chased around the same dialog box, receiving a notice that they have no account.

  It’s very annoying to both them and me.

  Hi there, it appears that you have set your site to be public in the time since you posted this, so it should be visible to anyone with a link to the site.

  I did note that two invitations you send appear to have not been accepted yet: https://wordpress.com/people/pending-invites/djmarcus.org
