Using a .dk domain when I upgrade my WordPress plan..?

    I have got a .dk domain (renelarsen.dk) which is hosted by a simple mailhotel. I want to upgrade my WordPress plan and need to know…
    – will it be possible to include handling​ of my current mail in my new WordPress (move the account)
    – do I need to back up​ and transfer​ my current data (address book​, correspondence, etc.) my self, or can it be done automatically​​
    – how long does it take to transfer the domain and account, to make my new address active
    – what are my options regarding ‘re-naming’ my current blog (lisboalarsen / @larsenonline), using the exsisting .dk/domain

    We do not provide email hosting, but if you map your domain to us you will be able to add the MX records your email needs to keep working to the domain’s DNS on our end. Your email account itself will have to remain with your current provider, though.

    We do not accept incoming transfers for .dk domains, so instead your domain will remain at your current domain provider, and you’ll connect it here via a process called domain mapping instead.

    Domain mapping starts working immediately, but it also requires you to point your domain’s DNS to us. This is done at your domain provider, and it can take up to 72 hours for everything to update.

    To keep interruption of your email to the minimum we recommend that you first add the mapping upgrade on our end, and then add the DNS records required for your email before you point the domain’s name servers to us.

    I’m not sure what you’re asking here. Can you please clarify? What exactly would you like to rename?
