Using a phone to view protected posts

    We have one protected page with a password on our teaching site. The site works fine on a PC however on a phone there is no response after putting in the password. Since most of the students access the site with a phone this is a big problem. Is there an add on or work around for this or do we need to get off wordpress.com to fix the issue?

    I also run a site with password-protected posts, and have never had problems from any site user viewing those posts, so this is not a problem with the password protection feature.

    More likely it’s a problem with the mobile browser you’re using to view the posts.

    What browser are you using? Does it make a difference if you use another browser?

    Also make sure the browser allows third party cookies – when you type in the password on a protected post, we set a cookie in the browser indicating that the posts are allowed to be displayed in that browser. If cookies are being blocked, or otherwise not working correctly, the posts won’t be visible.
