  • While plugins are common on self hosted WordPress sites, due to security concerns, they are not available on WordPress.com. There is more info regarding WordPress.com and plugins here:

    Plugins

However, we do have several built-in features that were inspired by many popular plugins. You might find what you want by searching for it at http://en.support.wordpress.com/

What feature are you looking to add with a plugin?

While we do have an advertising program called WordAds, which you can read more about here:

    WordAds

advertising outside of WordAds at WordPress.com (including AdSense) is not allowed. For full details, please see:

    Advertising

    http://wordpress.com/types-of-blogs/

If you require other advertising, you might be interested in a self-hosted (WordPress.org) installation. There are no restrictions on advertising if you setup a self-hosted WordPress.org blog instead of a WordPress.com blog, but there are some added responsibilities. Please see this link to learn about the differences:

    WordPress.com vs. WordPress.org

We have hosting recommendations at the following link if you are interested:

i was informed that when i upgrade to a premium,i can run ads. This is the first tome i am hearing about this,is there no way i can resolve this issue rather than moving to a .org

  • I’m sorry to hear that you were misinformed, but as you can see here:

    WordPress.com Premium [Redirects to Plans]

Running 3rd party advertising is not part of WordPress.com Premium.

If running ad network advertising is important to your site plans, then yes, I would encourage you to look into setting up a self-hosted WordPress.org site.

What are the traffic requirements to get qualified for WordPress ads

  • Yo would need to talk to the Wordads team about that.

But taking a look at your site stats, you are not there yet. Aim for along the lines of thousands of pageviews a month.
