Using Apps with Multiple Blogs Error
-
Hello!
I am noticing a consistent problem reappearing in several areas, and wanted to bring it to the attention of WordPress.I run several blogs. I also use several tools to write and publish these blogs: MS Word and iPad’s BlogPress.
When I insert my blog settings into these tools, it always names all my WordPress blogs to the same name of the first blog I own.
Example:
Blog #1 – House Theodoulos – housetheodoulos.wordpress.com
Blog #2 – House Theodoulos – johncalvinhall.wordpress.com
Blog #3 – House Theodoulos – biblescholar.wordpress.comAs I stated earlier, the tools point to the different blogs, but they are all named the same name of the first blog.
Has this occurred before?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I can, but this problem goes beyond the iPhone app.
I have Microsoft forums telling me it’s WordPresses problem, and I have some telling me it’s the app developers problem….
The problem is repeating itself across applications that are supposed to be able to access multiple blogs. Good chance something has changed in WP’s way of responding to remote blog posting. It could be that the same apps could have been written for an older version of WP. It could even be the same dev writing for all these apps…
Who knows?
I just want to access my blogs and know which one I am writing to. I won’t mention the fact that Blogger doesn’t have this problem.
Don’t want to offend anyone….

Addendum – The iPad’s app specifically made for WordPress works great! It’s the app called BlogPress that is coughing up the hairballs (as well as Microsoft Word).
This is why I am suspecting that something got tweaked in a recent WP update and these 3rd party folks were not aware of the change.

BlogPress is not an Automattic product. You should probably contact the app developer. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/blogpress/id317799861?mt=8
