Using Custom Permalink (with a question mark ?) on WordPress
-
I don’t know it is related to WordPress or Cpanel etc.. but my question is;
For example; http://www.site.com/?something=something2
I would like to have these kind of permalink string instead of http://www.site.com/something=something
To be clear please review this page:
https://boereport.com/detailed-quote/?tvwidgetsymbol=NYMEX%3ACLN2021 https://boereport.com/detailed-quote/?tvwidgetsymbol=TVC%3AUSOIL
After /detailed-quote/.. they have used ?tvwidget=stockname, when I try to create this kind of string, it automatically redirects to http://www.site.com/detailed-quote/
How can I solve this issue?

Hi there!
I’m afraid we won’t be able to help you here as your site is not hosted with WordPress.com. It is a site using the open-source WordPress software (from WordPress.org) but hosted elsewhere.
Because WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two entirely separate entities, we cannot access files or data for sites hosted elsewhere; we can only assist with sites hosted on our servers. You can read more about the differences between WordPress.org software and WordPress.com here:
https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/.You can look for help at the community forums here: https://wordpress.org/support/forums/.
http://wordpress.org/support/ is also a great resource for sites using the open-source WordPress.org software.
