Using IP address for domain mapping instead of changing DNS Name Servers?

    Hello

    My registrar cannot change the name servers as then the email server will no longer be active. He requires that we change the IP address instead, and thus have to update it every time WP changes their IP.
    Please may I have the current IP address of my site so as to finish domain mapping?

    Hi there,

    If your registrar can provide the DNS records for your email service, you can enter them here at WordPress.com to make sure your email continues to work after you change the name servers. I can help you enter them if you need assistance with that step.

    You can use a message like this to ask your registrar for those details:

    I would like to point my domain’s name servers to WordPress.com, to use it with my site hosted there. Could you please provide me with the complete MX and/or other DNS records I will need to enter on WordPress.com’s end, so that my email on this domain will function?
