Using Lightsail – need to create website with user login & allow user blogs

    Hi, I am using Lightsail to standup my site. I need this site where users can add blog, upload a file, give youtube link etc., I also want to give user the access upon email confirmation and I should have ability to moderate the comments and remove user profiles. Which theme is more suitable?

    For what site is this? We don’t offer integration with any product called Lightsail on WordPress.com

    You can give someone that ability by adding them to your site as an Author. They’ll need to have their own WordPress.com username account to be added in this way, assuming you’re speaking of a WordPress.com site.

    If you want people to be able to submit content and files without being added as users on the site, you’d need to use a plugin for that. Plugins on WordPress.com requires our Business Plan.

    I should have ability to moderate the comments and remove user profiles.

    As the owner of a WordPress.com site you automatically have this ability – comment moderation and user management are built-in features of WordPress.

    Which theme is more suitable?

    All a theme does is determine how your site looks. It doesn’t make any difference to the features available as that’s determined by the software itself. To add a feature that’s not built in, you need to find the appropriate plugin for the specific feature you want to add.
