Using multiple domains

  I want to be able to use two domains for one site. Is this possible?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Sure thing! You’re welcome to have as many domains as you’d like linked to one site. You can register a new domain with this guide: Register a New Domain

  When you have more than one domain on one site, the primary domain is the one visitors will see in their browser’s address bar when they visit the site. All other domains will redirect to the primary domain.

  I shows up on my domains list, but if I type in the streetwisefurniture.org there is no redirect. Is this something to do with DNS records?

  It looks like the domain name streetwisefurniture.org was registered through Gandi.net on September 03, 2013. If you registered the domain then, you can map it to your WordPress.com blog following the steps here: Map an Existing Domain

  You’ll need to change your name servers to the following:

  • NS1.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS2.WORDPRESS.COM
  • NS3.WORDPRESS.COM

  If you’re not sure how, you’ll need to contact Gandi.net for assistance.

  If you did not purchase the domain streetwisefurniture.org then, I’m afraid that it’s unavailable for use because someone else already owns it. You’ll need to pick another domain name to use with your blog. If you didn’t register the domain, let me know, and I’ll go ahead and credit your account for that purchase so you can register another domain name.
